Week 3: “A Walk to the Lake
This time using #fieldrecordings of a #soundwalk at the lake near where we live. Geese, gulls & a guitar & vocal drone:
Week 4: “Quiet Voices” & “Brain Machine”
The first, “Quiet Voices” started off as an experiment with “#binauralbeats” but later developed into an ambient soundscape. Binaural Beats were/are the basis of “#brainmachines” – i came across these in the 90s while living in the Netherlands. The basic idea being two sinewaves ever so slightly out of tune, the difference between them sets up a low frequency pulse, with which the brain synchronises & alters the state of the listener.
The second track is “Brain Machine” – 30 minutes of an 8Hz binaural beat around a base frequency of 110Hz
