Since the ‘90s, Kate Millner and Michael Parker have both worked extensively in their respective fields: Kate -a professional actress & singer – performed in theatre, film and TV. She also worked as a professional storyteller with her company, Fallen Moon.  Michael – a musician, composer and recording engineer, played in various bands through the ‘80s and set up his own music production company, providing soundtracks for radio and TV commercials. In 2014, he became in-house producer for Studio 6 Music.

Kate arrived at the studio in 2017 to record with her band and they both very quickly became aware that their creative outlook and experiences were a perfect match. Kate’s aptitude for conceptual design, spoken wordplay and ability to evoke emotion through words and melody blended magically with Michael’s atmospheric and sometimes quirky musical soundscapes.

At Swefn’s Edge with its “cinematic dreamscapes” rapidly took shape from conception to manifestation.
