At Swefn’s Edge is a meeting
of musical and dramatic minds.

swefn (Old English) – dream {noun}

“Imaginary events seen in the mind while sleeping.”

Since the ‘90s, Kate Millner and Michael Parker have both worked extensively in their respective fields:

Kate – a professional actress & singer – performed in theatre, film and TV. She also worked as a professional storyteller with her company, Fallen Moon.

Michael – a musician, composer and recording engineer, played in various bands through the ‘80s and set up his own music production company, providing soundtracks for radio and TV commercials. In 2014, he became in-house producer for Studio 6 Music.

At Swefn’s Edge create soundscapes for different creative multi-media platforms. They provide audio book recordings and sound design, adverts, meditations, podcasts and were co-producers in a digital festival in 2020.

They have collaborated on a multitude of exciting projects with numerous creatives- dancers, artists, puppeteers, storytellers, musicians, producers and theatre practitioners.

Based at Studio 6 Music where most compositions take shape, they also perform live at immersive festivals and in any space that can house two people, a few instruments, a selection of foot pedals (occasionally the odd puppet or two) and an audience.
